Wild venison haunch steak provides a unique experience, marinate the steaks with a good red wine in the refrigerator for a couple of hours prior to cooking. Then place in a hot pan of olive oil for 3 minutes. A personal favourite is to cook over open flame for a distinctive flavour. A little garlic sauce and you have the best steak ever!
If you prefer some fat on your steak then select Chinese Water Deer as the species! For a lean steak then choose Muntjac, Roe or Red.
