Here at Bluebell Woods Wild Venison we are constantly thinking of the environment.
Our wild deer are carefully managed to encourage a balance and enhance the biodiversity of their natural habitat.
With that in mind we have moved away from polystyrene packaging. We have dispensed with the tray inserts that serve no real purpose other than to be aesthetically pleasing. We are using minimum packaging (recycled plastic – vacuum bags) and in transit are using a natural insulation solution.Which you can return to us to be re used with your next order.
Since Christmas 2020 we have sent out all deliveries with natural wool inserts within the box to enhance the products temperature controlled environment. Thus ensuring your order is kept at an optimum temperature in transit while protecting the environment from excessive use of polystyrene. More recently we have used recycled newspaper as the insulation media.

For deliveries in Norfolk and Suffolk, delivery of our Wild Venison can be made via our refrigerated chiller van direct to you on our home delivery round that covers much of Norfolk and Suffolk. Alternatively, when you order online, we can send out refrigerated packages via DHL courier across the UK.

Please avoid Monday deliveries as this involves the package spending a weekend in a courier depot! DHL will deliver at weekends if specified when you order
Delivery Method
All orders are packed with ice and transported in insulated boxes by DHL courier. You can track your order using the unique consignment number that you receive via email /text message.
